Mr. Edward C. Creamer, a resident of Medford since 1961 and beloved husband of Beth (Paul) Creamer, passed away suddenly at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose on Saturday morning, June 2, 2018. He was 83 years old.
Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, on February 1, 1935, he was the beloved son of the late Harvey and Beulah (Greencorn) Creamer. Mr. Creamer was employed, for more than 47 years, as the General Manager for Westerbeke Fishing Gear Company. In his spare time he enjoyed wokring in his yard, going to yard sales and auctions. Above all he was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.
Besides his beloved wife, Beth, he is survived by his loving daughter; Loralee Hurley of Lynn and Karen O’Mahoney of Woburn, siblings; Mabel, Clarence and Harold, grandchildren; Jillian Hurley, Charles Hurley, Brittney Creamer, Brian Creamer and Meaghan O”Mahoney and many nieces and nephews. He was also the loving father of the late Gary E. Creamer and brother of the late Gordon Creamer.
His funeral service will be celebrated in the First Baptist Church, 29 Oakland Street, Medford on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, from 4 to 8 PM.
