Joseph A. Duch of Truro passed away at home, Friday June 1st, surrounded by family. He was 77.
Born in Norwich, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Claire and Joseph C. Duch. He attended local schools, and after college graduation became a school teacher in the Boston school system.
He spent many summers on the Outer Cape, and after retirement 30 years ago, moved to North Truro with his partner of 35 years, the late Sampan Wootirat.
He is survived by sisters Pauline Henson of Mystic, CT, Karen Gilliland of Gail’s Ferry, CT and a brother, Timothy Duch and his wife Deb, of Norwich, CT.
A Memorial Service is planned for the fall, at a time and date to be announced.
