TEWKSBURY - Mrs. Frances L. (Ferry) Bosia, age 86, a retired store clerk at several department stores in Tewksbury, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 2, at Lowell General Hospital. She was the beloved wife for fifty-one years of the late Tewksbury Postal Clerk, Robert A. Bosia, who died in April 2012.
She was born in Malden, one of two children of the late Francis and Marguerite (Mullen) Ferry, in June 1931. She was raised in Chelsea, attended elementary and high school and graduated St. Rose Girls School in Chelsea.
After marriage, she lived in Lowell, and with her husband, moved to Tewksbury in 1963 to raise their family. While raising her family, she worked as a store clerk at Caldor’s, Calvert’s and most recently Wal-Mart Tewksbury department stores.
Frances was a member of St. William’s Parish Community in Tewksbury, and was lovingly described to having devoted her life to her family, and an adoring grandmother.
She leaves three children, John R. Bosia of Tewksbury, Margaret “Peggy” Lennon and her husband Michael “Mike” of Dracut, and Thomas F. Bosia and his wife Diane of Derry, NH; her beloved grandchildren, Nicole McAllister and her husband Geoff of Nashua, NH, Michael Lennon of Laconia, NH, Jacob Lennon of Dracut, twins, Nicholas Bosia and Elizabeth Bosia both of Derry, NH; her great grandchildren, Jack, Miles, Bella, and Lily; and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother, Robert Ferry.

Her funeral will begin Thursday at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass Thursday, June 7, at 12:00 Noon in St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury.
