FALL RIVER – Dorothy Ferreira Pacheco, age 91, passed away peacefully at home on June 1, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel F. Pacheco of 56 years. Born in Fall River on June 8, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Manuel S. and Mary (Vital) Ferreira. She resided in Fall River all of her life. She retired in 1988 from the former Quaker Fabrics, after working for the company for 25 years as an Industrial Engineer.
She has one son, A. Gerald Lima of Fall River, one grandson Marc G. Lima. She was the sister of the late Hilda Silvia Ferreira. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Elaine Ahaesy and husband Edward, brother-in-law George Pacheco and wife Sandra, a godchild Patricia Eton, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Wednesday with extended calling hours from 8:30-9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Good Shepherd Church at 10:00 A.M.
