Paul G. Hubrich, 65

Dateline: Foxborough, MA

Paul G. Hubrich, age 65, of Foxborough, passed at home on Friday, June 1, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Lorraine F. (Denvir) Hubrich, who died on May 7, 2008.

Born in Boston, MA on April 24, 1953, he was a loving son of the late Frederick J. and Margaret F. (O’Brien) Hubrich.

Paul grew up in Norwood and was a graduate of Norwood High School. He married his late wife Lorraine, the love of his life, on June 12, 1982. He had made his home in Foxborough for the past twenty years and had previously resided in Mansfield for twelve years.

Paul was a devout Catholic and an active communicant and supporter of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield. He was a member of the 27th Lancers Drum & Bugle Corps., and was also a member and served on the Board of the Hockomock YMCA in Foxborough.

Paul was an avid and knowledgeable New England sports fan, was known for his adventurous side and traveled extensively to many exotic locations.

He was the dear brother of Margaret “Peggy” Smith and her husband Michael of Florida, Ruth Briggs and her husband Frederick of Norton and Karl Hubrich of Vermont. He is also survived by several generations of loving nieces and nephews, and his devoted dogs “Maggie” and “Oakie”

His funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will begin on Monday, June 11th at 8:00 A.M. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 9:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, June 10th from 4:00-7:00 P.M at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Hockomock YMCA Reach Out For Youth & Families, 300 Elmwood St., North Attleboro, MA 02760.
