Anna (Palmisano) Puopolo, of Medford, formerly of Boston’s West End, Thursday, May 31st. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and the Rose (Zaffiro) Palmisano.
Anna loved to spend time with her granddaughter’s Laura and Rachel. Anna’s family was her pride and joy, they were her world. Her sense of humor, quick wit and sass could make anyone smile. She also loved to cook and plan family gatherings.
Anna was the beloved wife of Carmine Puopolo for 62 years. She was the devoted mother of Linda Sheehan of Malden, Donna Boggs and Joanne Chavis both of South Carolina. Loving grandmother of Laura and Rachel Sheehan. Dear sister of Joanne Palmisano of Saugus.
A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, June 5th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9 – 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at The Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
