Hedwig. “Hedy” (Biernat) Kasprzak, 91, died peacefully Sunday, May 20, 2018 in Shrewsbury Nursing Home, where she received loving care for the last three years. She was born in Worcester, to parents Francis and Josephine (Goralski) Biernat. She lived a blessed and long life dedicated to her family and her predeceased husband, Joseph Kasprzak to whom she was married 66 years. She loved to travel, dance, host family gatherings and enjoyed visiting the casinos.
She leaves behind three children; daughter Jeanne Salvatore and her husband William of Auburn, MA, son Joseph Kasprzak of Boca Raton, FL, daughter Barbara Kasprzak of Shrewsbury; grandchildren, Jennifer (Salvatore) O’Connor and her husband, Ryan of Boca Raton, FL and Michael Salvatore and his wife Kristin of Auburn; great grandchildren, Cashel and Ruari
O’Connor, Nathan and Gabriella Salvatore; many nieces and nephews. Hedy is predeceased by her brother Stanley Biernat and four sisters, Sophie Listaite, Mary Graber, Helen Mazejka and Victoria Thomas.
A private funeral and burial service with a Mass will be scheduled at a future date. No calling hours will be held.
