Debra E. (Boyd) Bennett passed away peacefully on May 23, 2018. She was 64 years old.
Debra was a lifelong resident of Malden. She was a graduate of Malden High School and worked as for many years at Chestnut Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation in Saugus as the head nurse.
Debra was the beloved wife of 46 years to Paul A. Bennett. She was the daughter of Claire (Rancourt) Boyd and the late John Boyd. Debra was the loving mother of Paul Bennett Jr. of Malden, Jennifer Bennett of Malden and Jessica Bennett and her fiancé William Doucette of TN. She was the sister of Diane Lanouette, John Boyd, Dennis Boyd, Stephen Boyd, and the late William and Robert Boyd. Debra was the cherished grandmother of Matthew, Teresa, Nicholas, Joshua, Anthony (U.S. Army PVT 1st Cl), Courtney, Robert, Jared, Leah-Rae, Bianca, Aiyanna, Keilani and Vera. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday May 29th at 8:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church 770 Salem Street, Malden at 9:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday May 28th from 4-8pm. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
