Marie Ananie (Toutoune) Georges of Hyde Park, passed away on May 7, 2018 at the age of 63. Marie was born on August 30th 1954 in Croix-des-Bouquets Lassere, Haiti to the late Fisemise Serome Aneus (2013) and the late Aneus Fils (1981) Toutoune passed away in her home on Monday, May 7th, peacefully surrounded by love, comfort, and in the care of her family and friends. Toutoune will truly be missed and while she persevered for so long, she is now in peace.
She was married to her devoted and beloved husband Jacques Georges (2015) of 41 years. During this union, they welcomed four children: Marie Natacha, Edwidge, Farah, and Sandy.
Working many years in the healthcare field which she retired with an abundance of appreciation and respect. She was very hard working woman that LOVED to cook and loved her family dearly. Raising her children was her priority and she made sure to instill the same hard working values in them. Throughout her life she has been able to bless those around her with wisdom and inspiration. Although she is no longer present her legacy lives on.
Toutoune was preceded in death by her eldest sister Denise Aneus in 1963 and leaves to mourn her 5 sisters and 2 brothers: Monique Regis, Jean Fils, Guerda Aneus, Mariefise Cadet, Marie Josee Fleurime, Mario Aneus and Clerta Aneus. Her seven granddaughters: Aliya, Edwiana, Saraigne, Malaika, Jordyn, Genevieve, and Dorothy. With a multitude of family and friends, those near and far will be left with wonderful memories of her and relief in the fact she is now at peace.
The family will receive visitors at the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion HIghway. Roslindale on Friday May 11 from 7-9 PM. A funeral home service will take place on Saturday May 12 from 10-12 noon.
Interment will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Roslindale.
