GILFORD – Judith “Judy” Elaine Vollmerding, 71, of Gilford, NH, peacefully passed on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at the Lakes Region General Hospital. Born May 26, 1946, in Brooklyn, NY, Judy was the only child of the late John and Mary (Bogovich) Stengel.
Judy loved spending time with her grandchildren along with painting, swimming, and enjoyed Gilford Beach and raising her beloved pets.
Judy is survived by her husband of almost 49 years, Wilfred Vollmerding; two daughters, Erika Vollmerding of Lakeport, NH and Marlene Smith and her husband, Mark of Bow, NH; a stepson, Wilfred Vollmerding and his wife, Mary; and three grandchildren, Rochelle, Angelina and Evan.
Calling Hours will be held from 2:00p.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2238 Parade Road, Laconia, NH.
A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018, also at the church.
