Born July 8, 1934 in Ely to John & Anna Svetin, went to be with the Lord on May 5th, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers & sisters; son David; & daughter Jody. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Peggy; his four children Dale Mae, Bill Jr, Sean & Shannon; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; along with numerous extended family & dear friends. Bill loved fishing, hunting, telling stories, & he laughed with his whole body. Funeral Service Saturday, May 12, at 11:00 AM, with visitation 1 hour prior, at LAKE PHALEN COMMUNITY CHURCH, 1717 N. English St., Maplewood, MN 55109. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
