Richard Lee Hopper, age 72, of Prosser, Washington fell asleep on
May 5, 2018 at his home surrounded by his wife, two daughters, and
sister.
He was born to Alfred and Ruth Hopper on June 17, 1945 in
Walla Walla, Washington. Richard then married Pamela May 22, 1975. They moved to Prosser in 1982 where Richard worked for Hall’s Chevrolet as the
Service Manager for 25 years. He then went on to work at McIntyre
Auto Repair.
Richard is survived by his wife of 42 years, Pamela Hopper; his daughters,
Teresa Funkhouser, Michelle Potts, and Jessica Hopper-Lee; his sister,
Janet Collins; two grandchildren, Codee Funkhouser-Wyatt and Cohen Lee: and
two great- grandchildren, Amarianna and Khyren Wyatt.
The services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Prosser Funeral
Home, 1220 Sheridan Ave in Prosser. In lieu of flowers donations may be
made to North Star Cancer Center in Yakima, Washington.
