Sr. Florence Lebreux, RJM (Mère Marie du Temple). Sr. Florence, 99, died May 4, 2018 at Elizabeth Seton Residence in Wellesley, MA. She was a Religious of Jesus and Mary celebrating her 80th year of religious profession. Born in Manchester, NH she was the daughter of the late Wilfred Lebreux and Flora (Morel) Lebreux. She entered the congregation of the Religious of Jesus and Mary in 1936 and was a teacher for many years in Woonsocket, RI, Fall River, MA and Providence, RI. She is lovingly remembered for her service to the community of sisters in their infirmary after her tenure with teaching. She retired in 2003 when she moved to Wellesley, MA.
In addition to her religious community, she is survived by a nephew, Robert Lebreux and a niece, Nancy Davis both of New Hampshire and several cousins. A prayer service celebrating her life will take place at Mt. St. Vincent Center, 125 Oakland St., Wellesley, MA on Friday, May 11 beginning at 10:15 followed by a Mass of Thanksgiving. Burial will be at St. Jean Baptist Cemetery in Bellingham, MA .
