William J. “Billy” Nolan
Greater Lowell Area Contractor

William J. “Billy” Nolan, age 50, a resident of the Centralville neighborhood in Lowell, formerly of Stafford Springs, CT and Tewksbury, passed away unexpectedly at the Lowell General Hospital on Thursday, May 3, 2018.

Born in Lowell on October 19, 1967, he was the son of Susan (Reale)(Nolan)Curtis, who survives him, and the late Thomas W. Nolan.

Billy was raised in Tewksbury, and attended Tewksbury schools until moving to Stafford Springs, CT. He later returned to Tewksbury and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School. Following high school, Billy attended Florida Southwest State College.

Billy worked for many years at his father’s restaurant known as Nolan’s Hearthside in Tewksbury. In addition, he worked as a mortgage broker and general contractor.

He was an avid New England Patriots fan, and loved spending time boating and fishing at Lake Winnipesaukee and Hampton Beach.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Cameron T. Nolan; one brother, Thomas Nolan; four sisters, Gina Nolan Millix , Erika Nolan Greene, Suzanne Cormier, and Stephanie Nolan; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.

Calling hours will be Thursday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, followed by his graveside services to be held at the Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East St., Tewksbury.
