Eileen V. (Farren) Sullivan, a 53 year resident of Billerica and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at her home in Billerica. She was 74 years of age.
Eileen was born in Boston on August 25, 1943, a daughter of the late Daniel P. Farren and Rose (Devlin) Farren. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1961. Eileen worked as a Treasury Accountant at Unifirst Corporation in Wilmington for 18 years and prior to her employment there she worked in the same capacity at Memtek in Billerica. She enjoyed the 15 Boston to Bermuda cruises in September with her husband Jimmy and other family members. Eileen cherished the special moments in her life and enjoyed her quality time with her husband and children and especially enjoyed the times watching her grandchildren's sporting events and was so proud of the accomplishments that each one of them have achieved.
Eileen is the beloved wife of 55 years to James P. "Jimmy" Sullivan. She is the devoted mother of Eileen Sullivan, Christine Farrow, James P. Sullivan Jr. and his wife Karen, Peggy DiSarcina and her husband Glenn and Patrick Sullivan. She is the loving Nana to Meghan, Cameron, Scout, Caitlyn, West, Jimmy and Jack. She is the beloved sister of Alice Mortali and her husband Fred, Kathleen "Kitty" Whelan and her late husband Buddy, Grace Campbell and her late husband Danny and the late Daniel Farren and his surviving wife Mary, Anna Doris and her surviving husband Bud, James Farren and Bernard Farren. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Eileen's Funeral on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 11 A.M. Eileen's visiting hours will be on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Eileen's burial will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Road in Billerica. (MEET DIRECTLY AT CEMETERY FOR BURIAL).
