Obituary

WOOLWICH- Holly Martin Fenn passed April 30th, 2018 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House after spending her last days surrounded by family. She was born in Syracuse, NY on April 26th, 1956, a daughter of William Henry Fenn and Jane (Miller) Fenn. While growing up in Clearwater and Gainsville, Florida she spent time sailing and fishing in the gulf of Mexico, riding her favorite horse “Red Roan” in the Pony Club and spending time with her siblings. After moving to Dover, New Hampshire her talent for gardening developed, along with many friendships and her love for the New England change of season. She worked hard while raising her four children on a farm in North Yarmouth, Maine; a home which was always full-spirited with many friends at the dinner table, animals in the yard, sauce cooking from her gardens, all while music played in the background. Even in her busiest years, she made time to take her children outside to gaze at the moon and stars, reminding them that she loves them “to the moon and back”. She looked forward to visits on Little Diamond Island and to her favorite place, the family camp on Branch Pond in Ellsworth, Maine. Her life truly began to shine with the birth of her grandson, Camden- taking him on adventures whenever possible. She enjoyed her recent work at Maine Hunger Prevention Program, where she made many friends while preparing food for those in need. Holly lived for her children, saying in her last days that they were her “greatest accomplishment”. She was a woman who’s heart shined through her eyes each time she smiled and who often reminded others to “count your blessings”. She made the world a better place everyday by showing compassion to each individual she met and doing random acts of kindness whenever possible. Holly is survived by her children- Ben Renaud, Kelly Renaud, Stuart Renaud, Hannah McComish, and their partners; her grandson- Camden Renaud; her siblings- Mary Weickert, Susan Fenn, William Fenn, and their partners; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends whom she loved like family.
