Brandon Ernest Coutu, 25, of Balsam Lane in Smithfield, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
Born in Providence, he was a son of Denis Norman and Kathy Ann (Tessier) Coutu. He had worked as a machinist for Ecological Fibers in Pawtucket and as a cook at the Kountry Kitchen in Smithfield.
Brandon loved all water sports especially wake boarding and riding his jetski on Johnson's Pond in Coventry.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister, Karla Coutu of Smithfield and his grandmother, Constance M. (Lee) Tessier of Smithfield. He was the grandson of the late Ernest J. and Doris M. (Lambert) Coutu and Raymond J. Tessier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will follow in Acote’s Hill Cemetery, Chepachet. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3-7 pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
