Turla Marie York Linscott
BUXTON- Turla Marie York Linscott passed away at age 58 very peacefully at Gosnell Memorial House on May 3rd after a long battle with chronic pain and illness.
Turla was born on October 18, 1959 in Portland, ME. She lived in Cape Canaveral, FL and Buxton, ME.
Turla married her loyal and steady husband Robert Linscott on May 26, 1988; he was by her side to the very last moment, which is exactly where she always wanted him to be. Turla was so strong and caring she would give to others every chance she had. She shared her love and compassion with everyone. Her strength and strong-willed personality came from fighting health complications her entire life but she truly tried to never let it slow her down.
Turla was predeceased by her oldest brother Horace York Jr. and his wife Patty York who both passed away earlier this year. She is survived by her loving husband Robert Linscott, their children Nicole Domboski and husband Alexander, Jason Harmon and wife Brittany, Rebecca Flowers and husband David, Tammi Linscott, Jason Linscott and wife Jennifer and many beloved grandchildren. Turla is also survived by her parents Dennis and Nina Sweatt, Brother William York and wife Betsy, Brother Michael York and wife Kim. Brother Don York and wife Peggy, Sister Tammy Lebel and husband Denis, and brother Dennis Sweat Jr. and wife Kim along with many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews and very close cousins all whom she loved dearly!
Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of life gathering on May 20th from 2-4 pm (dessert & coffee) at Friendly Village Clubhouse 5 Ash Dr Gorham.
