Obituary

Barbara Jane (Crummett) Corbin of Hudson, NH passed away on May 3 after a long and courageous battle with colon cancer. She was born on March 25, 1930 to Charles Mahlon and Dorothy Ruth (Pooler) Crummett of Maine. She was the beloved wife of Paul E. Corbin for 64 years and will be joining him once again.

Barbara was one of seven children, and was the beloved sister of Richard Crummett, Marjorie (Crummett) Gregorio, Beverly Crummett, Charles William Crummett, Nancy Crummett, all of whom predeceased her. She has one surviving beloved sister, Mary Bona and brother-in-law Frank Bona who reside in Florida. She was the beloved sister-in-law of Patricia Pellitier who continued to make her laugh on a daily basis.

She was the adored mother of Robert Corbin, Paula (Corbin) Billiot, Donna (Corbin) Molinari, Stephen Corbin and Debra Corbin, and the mother-in-law of Malcom Billiot, Michael Molinari and Daryl (McCarthy) Corbin, and Sandi White. She was also the former mother-in-law of Valerie Shaw and Tricia Moore.

She was the grandmother of Michael Corbin, Christine (Corbin) Welch, Derek Corbin, Stephen Corbin, Jr., Richard Corbin, Alyssa Corbin, Lauren Billiot and Arianna Molinari. She was the great grandmother of Shelby Lee Welch, Cassidy Corbin, Stephen Corbin, III, Isabelle Johnson, Jaxsyn Fredrick, Theodore Hanzl, Jaxon Corbin, Kevyn Fredrick, and Emma Hanzl.

Barbara attended school in Maine and graduated from Lawrence High School in Fairfield, Maine and the Central Maine School of Medical Technology, where she studied to be a medical laboratory technician. She worked at the Franklin County Memorial Hospital in Farmington, Maine and Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She later worked at Jordan Marsh, Hit or Miss, and Stern Uniform in Peabody, Massachusetts and Blair Card and Gift in Medford, Massachusetts.

Her happiest memories were taking care of her family and enjoying her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

A graveside service was held at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Rt. 3, Boscawen, NH, on Wednesday, May 9th at 10:30am.
