Anne F. Marcotte, 59, of Dartmouth died at home Monday, April 30, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Hormidas “Hank” and Rita (Zygiel) Marcotte.
Born December 27, 1958 in New Bedford, MA, she graduated from Nazareth Hall Catholic School in Fall River. She was employed at Work Inc. in New Bedford.
Anne was a member of the Nazareth Bowling League and the Women of the Moose.
She enjoyed music and dancing with her friends on Friday nights at the Poirier Post. She loved politics and a good family debate.
Anne leaves her eight siblings, Robert and his wife Gloria, Mary Anne Buss and her husband Bill, Monica Casey, Connie Sansoucy and her husband Arthur, Cindy Pinto and her husband Ralph, Paul, Elizabeth Healy, and James and his wife Julie; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was the sister-in-law of the late Dennis Casey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 10 AM at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart Church, 121 Mt. Pleasant Street, New Bedford. The family will greet guests at 9 AM and pray the rosary at 9:30 AM, prior to Mass. Burial will be private.
The family particularly wishes to recognize the Massachusetts DDS, Tina Lawson under the guidance of Family Services, and Active Day of Fairhaven for all the good care they gave Anne so she could live such a full life.
