Obituary


LIMERICK- David Wayne Nappi, age 57, passed away at his home on April 28, 2018 after a courageous battle with diabetes.
He was born in Lynn, MA on Feb. 8, 1961, a son of Antonio Nappi who currently resides in Limerick and Jayne Ober who resides in Palm Coast, FL.
David went to Lynn public schools and then went on to  Essex Agricultural and Technical High School were he became the head herdsman and was in the Future Farmers of America. He worked as a  bus driver for several years than decided to make a career change  and decided  to  attend Essex Agricultural College where he studied floriculture and  horticulture for his love of nature and science.
Dave will always be remembered for his love of music and his musical talents. You would find Dave playing  with his folk guitar, playing with bands on St. Patrick’s Day and other events. He was an essential part of the Essex Music Festival.
He enjoyed the outdoors – especially fishing and camping along the Kancamagus Highway.  He also enjoyed growing vegetables and flowers in his garden and hiking in National Forests.
Over the years he worked at Corliss Bros. in MA and was a manager of Home Depot in MA.  When he moved to Maine he worked as a direct support professional for Spurwink. 
Dave was a Past Master of Freedom Masonic Lodge #42 in Limerick, member of Buxton Masonic Lodge #115, and was a member of the Golden Fleece Hall Masons in Lynn, MA.  Dave was also a man of strong faith and was a member of the Lutheran Church in Lynn.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife- Jean (Zwickler) Nappi; his stepson- Daryl Selinger; brother- Dean Nappi; his wife Sharon Nappi and his niece- Felicia Nappi
A celebration of Dave’s life will be held at a later date.
