Mr. Brian G. Connolly, a resident of North Andover and beloved husband of the late Helen (Knapp) Connolly, passed away at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill on Sunday morning, April 29, 2018. He was 65 years old.
Born in Brookline, Massachusetts, on June 16, 1952, he was the beloved son of the late James J. and Margaret (Noonan) Connolly. Mr. Connolly had been employed as President & CEO of Mizuho America, a company specializing in Medical Devices.
In his spare time, Brian enjoyed being at the beach or on the ocean and had dreams of sailing the world. In his youth he was active athletically playing football and hockey, hockey being his passion. People have said he could fly on the ice, but stopping was something he did far less gracefully. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his two son's and daughter-in-law; James and his wife Christa D. Connolly of North Andover and Phillip G. Connolly of Redondo Beach, California, siblings; Kevin Connolly of Mashpee, Gail and her husband Peter Weiss of Norwood and Diane and her husband Al Brunette of Quincy, granddaughters; Everlee and Cora and many nieces and nephews.He was also the brother of the late James John Connolly Jr.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Wednesday, prior to the mass, from 9 to 11 AM. Interment will be privately held.
