FALL RIVER – Maria Conceicão (Camara) Dias, age 78, passed away on April 22, 2018 at Charlton Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Guilherme Dias. Born in Capelas, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of the late José and Maria Isabel (Costa) DaCamara.
Maria is survived by her children Beth Dias Cordeiro of Assonet, Aureliana Mary Dias of Fall River, Natalie Coimbra of E. Freetown, Peter Dias of Fall River, Mickey Dias of Fall River, Paula Christina Lima of Westport, Jennifer Dias of Fall River and Kevin Dias of Fall River; 9 Grandchildren, as well as 4 son-in-laws, 3 daughter-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her children José Guilherme and Maria Isabel Dias; siblings Manuel, José and Agostinho Camara, as well as one grandchild.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Michaels Church at 10 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours on Thursday from 5-8 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com
