Bubber Davis, 66, of Fitzgerald, died Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Pruitt Health, in Fitzgerald.
Graveside services will be held 2PM, Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Cannonville Cemetery in Wilcox County with Rev. Joel Owens officiating. The family will receive friends from 6PM until 8PM Monday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Davis was born January 16, 1952, to the late Walter Addison Davis Sr., and Amy Wilson Davis. Mr. Davis was a self-employed log trucker. He loved his family dearly as well his late dog Snowball Davis. He was a good gardener. Mr. Davis was a member of Cannonville Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne and Lane Seidel of Tarrytown; step-children, Janet and Steven Sheppard of Fitzgerald, and Leslie and Sam Reese of Americus; grandchildren: Tracy and Jamie Davis, Morgan Reese, Jessica Reese, Daniel Reese, and Kevin Woods; great-grandchildren: Savanna Davis, Alex Davis, Aaron Collier; sister, Juievene Rhodes of Abbeville; brothers: John Moorhouse of Abbeville, and Richard Moorhouse of Tifton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie B. Davis, step-son, Tony Reese, sister, Sylvia Shealey, and his beloved dog, Snowball Davis.
