Obituary

Bobbie J. Anglon, 83, of Fitzgerald, died, Saturday, April 21, 2018, at her daughter’s residence.

Funeral services will be held 2PM, Monday April 23, 2018 at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Bobby Atkinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Anglon was born December 18, 1934, in Tift County, Georgia to the late Wilbur Dewey and Louannie Sapp Smith. She was a waitress for Floyds Hamburger Shack for 25 years. She was also a former employee of the Fitzgerald Cotton Mill as well as a security guard at Dorminy Medical Center. She cared for and loved her family. Mrs. Anglon was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughters: Susan Anglon and Eddie and Donna A. Faircloth, all of Fitzgerald: grandchildren, Nicky McDonald, Jimmy Randall Moore, Jr. and Beth, Robbie Moore and Summer, Chuck and Jessie Faircloth, Amanda and Amelia Faircloth; great-grandchildren, Lauren Smith, Seth Faircloth, Dillon Faircloth, Drew Moore, Chloe Moore, Natalee Moore, and Gabe Faircloth. In October, Mrs. Anglon first great-great-grandchild is to be born. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Paul Anglon, and sons-in-law, Jimmy Randall “Snag” Moore, and Ted Faircloth.
