In Providence, RI April 21, 2018 James “Jim” L. Keogh of Taunton loving husband of Joan L. (Kennedy) Keogh died peacefully at the age of 84. Born in Taunton, Jim was the son of the late Edward and Helena (Smith) Keogh. He was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1952. Jim was a member of the Knights of Columbus Taunton counsel where he was a fourth degree knight, past Grand Knight, man of the year and the Financial Secretary. Jim volunteered for Pennies from Heaven and enjoyed playing golf, bike rides and especially family gatherings. He was the father of Sharon L. Keogh of Taunton, Kevin M. Keogh and his partner Susan Bumpus of Acushnet and Brian Keogh and his wife Christina of Maryland. Grandfather of Jessica and James Soule of Taunton. Brother of the late Edward and Thomas Keogh, Eileen Sarkisian and Rose Schlink. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton Wednesday, April 25th at 10 am. A Mass will be held at St Mary’s Church in Taunton at 11 am. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 pm. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
