Julie Anne Gianatassio, of Moreno Valley, CA, formerly of Malden passed away on April 16, 2018. She was 51 years old.
Julie Anne was a devoted Catholic who loved God. She attended the Malden school system, graduated from Boston University in 1990 and received her J.D. from Western State University College of Law in 1994. She practiced Family Law in both CA and MA. Julie enjoyed cooking, baking, and most of all spending time with her family.
Julie was the devoted wife of Sergio Pina. She was the beloved mother of Isabella Anne Marie Gianatassio-Pina. Julie was the loving daughter of Joseph and Patricia (Corvino) Gianatassio. She was the sister of Dr. Mark Gianatassio and his wife Barbara of Wilmington and Matthew Gianatassio and his wife Diane of Quincy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday April 26th at 8:45am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick Church 71 Central Street, Stoneham at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday April 25th from 4-8pm. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum, Everett.
