Marilyn E. (Dean) Butler, age 84, of Weymouth, formerly of Milton, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 18, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late James P. Butler and devoted mother of Marlene A. McNamee of Brockton, James D. and his wife Carol of Mashpee, Stephen J. and his wife Sheila of Sharon, Thomas E. and his wife Debra of Pelham, NH, Mary T. of Weymouth, Richard J. and his wife Julie of Walpole, and John V. and his wife Tricia of Sandy Hook, CT, and the late Paul F. and David J. Butler as well as the cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and dear sister of the late Charles F. Dean and Theresa D. Kelly. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Hills Church, Milton, Monday morning at 10:30. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Sunday, April 22nd 4 to 7 PM. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery.
