Loving brother of Paul J. & his wife Laura Gallivan of Milton, the late James R. & his wife Catherine E. Gallivan of Winthrop, Jean M. & her husband Thomas Curtis of Lowell & Joseph A. Gallivan Jr. of Winthrop. Also survived by many nieces, nephews & friends that were considered family. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Monday, April 23rd at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be in Winthrop Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, April 22nd from 2 thru 5pm. Longtime employee of Boston Ship Repair and a member of the shipbuilders Union Local S25 and member of Pleasant Park Yacht Club.
