Worcester – Claire E. (Bibeault) Partridge Cross, 96 of Worcester, died on Wednesday, April 11th in the Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center after an illness.
Claire is survived by her husband of 43 years, Fred P. Cross; a daughter, Claire Earley of Auburn; three sisters, Jane Robinson of Worcester, Alice Whitney of Middletown, RI and Marie Albro of Worcester; three grandchildren, Garrett Earley and his spouse, David of Jersey City, NJ, Clarissa Earley of Auburn and Ross Earley of Worcester; 2 great grandchildren, Michael Calderon and Christopher Shays and many nephews and nieces.
Claire was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Oliver and Eva (Barrett) Bibeault and is also predeceased by her first husband, Russell Partridge who died in 1968; a son in law, John Earley; two brothers, Paul and Ronald Bibeault and a sister, Olivette Richard.
Mrs. Cross was a founding member of North American Martyrs Church in Auburn and was active in the Women’s Guild at the church. Claire was a woman of great faith who enjoyed to spend her free time with her family, especially playing her game of “Pockets” with her grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Friday, April 20th at 10 AM in North American Martyrs Church 8 Wyoma Drive Auburn. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Memorial contributions in memory of Claire may be made to the Worcester County Food Bank 474 Boston Turnpike Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
