Beloved mother, grandmother and sister
TEWKSBURY: Beverly A. (Duke) Cunningham, age 80, a resident of Tewksbury for 18 years, formerly of West Peabody, passed away at the Wingate of Andover on Sunday, April 15, 2018.
Born in Boston on April 18, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Frederick E. Duke and the late Gilda G. (Rich) Duke.
Beverly was raised in the Allston area of Boston, and graduated from St. Columbkille High School. Following high school, she attended Bentley University.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a secretary by Vanasse, Hangen & Brustlin, Inc., a Massachusetts civil engineering company.
While living in Tewksbury, Beverly was a communicant of St. William’s Parish.
She enjoyed baking, cooking, and gatherings with her family and friends.
Beverly is survived by her children, Diane M. Cunningham and her partner Laura Fillinger, of Portland, ME, Elaine M. Tellier, Karen A. Manning and her husband Theodore, and Susan R. Melanson and her husband Joseph, all of Tewksbury; grandchildren, Sharon M. and Lauren A. Tellier, Nicholas J., Kristina M. and Andrea N. Cervizzi, Katherine E., Robert A. and Jonathan J. Melanson; her brother, Frederick E. Duke, Jr. and his wife Judith of Salem, NH.
Calling hours are Thursday, April 19, from 4-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Family and friends are invited to meet at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 20, at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St. Rte. 38, Tewksbury for her Funeral Mass.
