SWANSEA… Robert A. Bolton, 85, of Swansea, formerly of Somerset, passed away April 16, 2018 at his home.
He was the widower of Lillian M. (Golden) Bolton to whom he was married for 59 years prior to her passing.
Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Herbert and Edna May (Thurston) Bolton and had lived in Somerset for over 50 years.
Mr. Bolton was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a Foreman for the Massachusetts Highway Department for 25 years before retiring in 1992 and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughters: Dawn Ledoux of Fall River & Ellen Bolton of Somerset; his grandson: Jonathan Ledoux of Fall River; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Mark Shane and the staff at Swanbrook Assisted Living for the exceptional care they provided over these last few years.
