FALL RIVER… Louis M. Lindo, 77, of Fall River passed away April 12, 2018 at his home.
He was the widower of Mariana (Cabral) Lindo.
Born in Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Francisco C. and Guilhermina (Miranda) Lindo and had lived in Fall River since 1965.
Mr. Lindo was a communicant of Espirito Santo Church in Fall River and had worked as a Machine Operator at Swan Finishing for 26 years before retiring in 2003.
Along with his wife, he was preceded in death by his sons: Dimas and Michael Lindo and 18 brothers and sisters. Survivors include his sisters: Ilda Raposo and Maria Camara, both of Fall River; 2 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 9 AM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM At Espirito Santo Church, Alden St. Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5-8 PM.
