June H. (Newhouse) Gibelli, 86, of Billerica, MA, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in Londonderry, NH. She was born July 16, 1931, in Wilmington, MA, to Percy & Helen (Parker) Newhouse (both deceased). She adored her 5 brothers Robert, Frank & David, who are deceased, and brothers Warren & Ralph. Her step siblings Hubert (Sonny) Newhouse, Elaine Ahern (both deceased) & Pearl Borthwick. June is survived by her loving daughters, Sandra Kenney & husband Tom of Ft. Myers, FL, Maureen Brown & husband Dan of Concord, NH, her two grandchildren Ethan & Shannon Brown.
June was preceded in death by her loving husband, Salvatore J. Gibelli. They were blessed with 42 years together. She was devoted to his children Virginia Johnson & Husband Vern (deceased) of Strong ME, Janice Stimpson & husband Al of Merrimack NH, Joseph Gibelli (deceased) & wife Theresa Gibelli of Boynton Bch FL, Patricia Caterino & husband Roger of Billerica MA. Sal and June loved their blended family and together shared & enjoyed 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, April 22, 2018, 2PM The First Congregational Church of Billerica, 18 Andover Rd, Billerica MA 01821. Relatives & Friends, respectively, are invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, alz.org, 800-272-3900. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
