Beverly Becker, 89

Beverly (Berry) Becker, age 89, of Onset, formerly of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald E. Becker who died in 1975.
Born in Winthrop, MA on April 27, 1928, she was a loving daughter of the late Joseph, Sr. and Evangeline (Crocker) Berry.
Beverly grew up and was educated in Winthrop and Cranston, RI. She had made her home in Onset for nearly twenty years and while residing in Franklin, had been employed as a Home Health Aide.
Beverly’s life focused on being devoted to her adoring family. She was a talented and accomplished artist, enjoyed spending time in Oaks Bluff on Martha’s Vineyard and will always be remembered for her marvelous sense of humor.
She is survived by her devoted children Virginia D. Gomes of Salinas, CA, David M. Becker of Marblehead, Paul R. Becker and his wife of Kathleen of Taunton and the late Donald J. Becker who recently passed away in March. She was the dear sister of Lila Berry and Evangeline Cathcart both of North Carolina and the late Joseph Berry, Jr. She was the cherished grandmother of Jon Gomes, Christina Steen and Marc Gomes, and is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial at the Union St. Cemetery in Franklin will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
