PORTLAND, MAINE: Brian T. Caveney, age 26, recently of Portland, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 8, 2018.

Born in Lowell on December 28, 1991, he is the beloved son of Keith T. and Jane B. (Gerstler) Caveney, of Lowell.

Brian was raised in Andover, attended Andover schools and graduated from Andover High School in 2010.
Following graduation, he attended San Diego State University, where he received a B.A. Degree in English.
During his college years, he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.

Since graduating from San Diego State, Brian worked as a sales executive; he enjoyed fitness training, reading, staying involved with his close friends on the East and West Coast, and trying new recipes to cook.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, John H. Caveney of Somerville, and Daniel K. Caveney of San Francisco, CA; one sister, Colleen B. Caveney, attending Middlebury College; his paternal grandmother, Marjorie A. (Caveney)Grace and her husband Philip of Tewksbury; his aunt, Maura Maher and her husband Jim of Bedford, NH; uncles, Gary Caveney and his wife Alma of Canaan, NH, T.J. Caveney of Andover, and Greg Gerstler and his wife Georgia of Bonita Springs, FL; his dear friend, Sarah Garcia of Andover; also many cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Brian was the paternal grandson of the late T. John Caveney, and maternal grandson of the late Howard and Madalyn Gersler.

Upon graduation Brian worked in sales for Cogent Communications in both San Diego and Boston. This past year Brian worked in sales for Certify based in Portland Maine. He was very excited to be taking on a new sales position with DELL based out of Los Angeles, Ca. beginning in a few weeks. Brian had many friends in the Los Angeles area from college and was looking forward to re-uniting with them. Brian’s greatest gift was his way with people – his sense of humor and his natural charisma made all feel welcome. Those that knew Brian well were touched by his enthusiasm for life and making lasting memories.

Calling hours are Sunday, April 15, from 3-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. His funeral procession will begin on Monday, April 16 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 198 Haggetts Pond Rd., Andover.
