LAWLOR, Stephen P. “Beaver” Sr. of Ft. Meyers, FL, formerly of Winthrop, passed away suddenly on April 10, 2018. He was 65 years old. He was the devoted father of Barbara A. Lawlor and her companion Chris Clark of Winthrop and Stephen P. Lawlor Jr. of Hampton, NH. Born in Winthrop, he was the son of the late Thomas F. and Mary L. (Sullivan) Lawlor. Former husband of Barbara A. (Stasio) Lawlor. Dear brother of Michael Lawlor of Lynn, Barbara Busbee of Bristol, NH, twins Terry and Tommy Lawlor of Winthrop, Susan Mawson of Ashland, NH and Karen McDonald of Winthrop. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Tues, April 17, at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Cremation to follow the Mass will be private. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Monday from 4-8pm. Stephen was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a life member of the Amvets-Winthrop Post #48 and the former Sons of Italy-Winthrop. Prior to his retirement, Stephen was employed by the Town of Winthrop DPW working in the cemetery division.
