Antonio Orlando Barbosa (48) of Brockton died April 9th in the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston.
He was born in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau son of Luis Alberto Barbosa and the late Ermelinda Mendes Monteiro. Antonio was a cleaning supervisor in the nursing home industry. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Antonio enjoyed reading, music, watching soccer, joking around and great food.
In addition to his father he is survived by 2 daughters, Carina Barbosa of Portugal and Raquel Barbosa of London, a brother Danilson Barbosa of Brazil, 7 sisters, Candida Barbosa Gomes of Virginia, Ana Paula Lopes Barbosa of London, Vera Soina Barbosa of Brazil, Nicandra, Sandra, Cesaltina and Sindia Barbosa all of Guinea-Bissau, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 547 Manley Street, West Bridgewater Saturday April 21st at 9 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Friday April 20th from 5-9 pm.
