David T. Bronnenberg, 86, of Anderson passed away unexpectedly April 9, 2018 at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital.
He was born on June 21, 1931 in Madison County, the son of Harold and Sara (Miller) Bronnenberg. He was a life long Madison County resident and graduated from Anderson High School in 1949. He was a supervisor at Delco Remy, working 40 years and retiring in 1990. He was a member of Chesterfield Christian Church and Chesterfield Optimist Club. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time working in the yard.
David is survived by three children; Alan (Victoria) Bronnenberg of Bloomington, Melanie (LJ) Mechem of Anderson and Scott Bronnenberg of Carmel; six grandchildren, Chris Bronnenberg of Los Angeles; Summer Cano, of Austin, MN; Disney Bronnenberg, Joe Bronnenberg both of Bloomington, Tyler Mechem of Indianapolis and Alexis Webster of Fishers; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriett L. (Wood) Bronnenberg April 9, 2011, and a sister, Barbara Neuman.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11 AM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Ned Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Bronnenberg Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM and one hour prior to the service Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Madison County Historical Society, 15 W. 11th Street, Anderson, IN 46016.
