Richard L. Sacco of Hampton, New Hampshire died on Thursday, April 5. Born and raised in Medford, he was the son of the late Louis and Hilda (Thomas) Sacco. Richard worked in the telecommunications industry and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 2222.
Richard was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Keating) Sacco, and the devoted father of Paul R. Sacco and his wife Monique of Rockland, and Brenda and Patricia Sacco, both of Florida. He was the loving grandfather of Nishele, Jacinta, Isabella and Jaliana, and the loving great grandfather of Alaysia. Richard was the dear brother of Irene Murray and her husband John of Wilmington, Louis Sacco and his wife Carol of Woburn, and Robert Sacco and his wife Marie of Saugus. He is also survived by his uncle James Vozzella, and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. His family would like to offer a special thanks to the Hampton, New Hampshire Fire Department.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with family in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, April 11th, between 11 AM and 1 PM. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home at 1 PM, concluding with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Richard's name to a charity of One's choice.
