Miss Irene T. Malo of Taunton, age 90, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, April 4, 2018 at Marian Manor. Born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Emery and Ruth (Cotter) Malo. She was educated at St. Mary’s Grammar School and St. Mary’s High School. Prior to retirement she worked for homemaker services in Taunton. Irene leaves her sister in law Ann Malo of VA and three nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her brother Edward J. Malo and two sisters Patricia Miller and Elizabeth Malo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Taunton on Monday, April 9th at 11 am. Relatives and friends are also invited to visitation prior to the mass at O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 from 9:30-10:30 am. Interment will be in the family lot in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
