Ruby Lee Thompson, 98, of Fernandina Beach passed away Tuesday evening, April 3, 2018.
She moved to the Yulee Fernandina Beach area 42 years ago from Jacksonville and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Thompson was a seamstress and a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing and being with her family and she was a fantastic cook.
She was predeceased by her husband, James J. Thompson; her sisters, Effie Mae Harrison and Carmelita Saxton; and by two brothers John Johnson and George Johnson.
Survivors include three sons and daughters in law, James Edward and Glenda Thompson, Robert Earl and Bonnie Thompson, David Ralph and Joyce Thompson; and a daughter, Sudie Lee Wiggins; sister, Lois O'neal.
Graveside Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday April 6, at Green Pine Cemetery.
