Rocco R. Defilippo, 66, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence in Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 26 years, Lori A. (Wetherbee) Defilippo, 3 children, Anthony, Juliana and Andrea Defilippo all of Webster, a sister, Dianne L. Hosgood and her husband Rick of Dudley and a grandson, Xander Hill as well as several nieces and nephews.
Rocco was born in Webster, son of the late Joseph and Alice (Mayette) Defilippo and lived here most of his life. He was predeceased by 2 sisters; Helen Defilippo in 2005, and Nancy Wetherbee in 2015.
Rocco was a New England sports fan especially the Red Sox and Patriots.
He was a kind man, an amazing father and amazing soul. Rocco always brought laughter upon everyone he encountered. He was a family man, always looked forward to Super Bowl Sunday with his obnoxiously loud family that he loved unconditionally. Every morning he would wake up early, make his cup of coffee, and sit at the table doing his daily word search puzzle.
Rocco will be missed greatly.
Family and friends are invited to meet with Rocco’s family on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 5-7 pm at the ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St, Webster.
Burial will take place on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 10am, in Calvary Cemetery in Dudley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, 10 Judith Rd., Worcester, MA. 01602.
