Robert J. Clark, Sr. 55

Robert J. Clark, Sr., age 55, of Norton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.

Born in Norwood, MA on June 16, 1962, he was a loving son of Maeann M. (Burns) Clark of Norton and the late Warren B. Clark.

A lifelong town resident, Bobby grew up on Clapp Street and was educated in Norton schools. He was a 1980 graduate of Norton High, where he played football and baseball.

For many years, Bobby was employed as a crane operator at State Line Scrap in South Attleboro. He was a member of the Norton VFW, and loved times spent on Cape Cod in Hyannis, Falmouth and Craigville Beach. He also enjoyed attending airshows at Quonset Point in Rhode Island.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his devoted children Kristen Clark of Attleboro and Robert J. Clark, Jr. of Attleboro. He was the adoring grandfather of Kaylee, Shaylynn and Braedyn. He was the longtime loving boyfriend of Tomianne Ducharme of Norton. He was the dear brother of the late Carol Clark and the former husband of Suzanne Clark of Attleboro. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a graveside funeral service on Wednesday, April 4th at 1:00 P.M. at the Norton Common Cemetery, West Main St. (Route 123) in Norton.

Visiting hours have been omitted and in lieu of flowers, Bob’s family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Norton VFW Post, 38 Summer St., Norton, MA 02766.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St., Norton.
