Obituary

Frank Gramling, 71, passed away March 27, 2018 at Community Hospice after a valiant battle with Parkinson's disease.
Frank was born in Miami Beach, attended Culver Military Academy, and the University of Florida. After serving in the Coast Guard as a Lieutenant Commander, Frank completed his law degree at Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a founding member of Fertig & Gramling in Fort Lauderdale. While living in South Florida, Frank maintained a very busy schedule of community involvement. Frank was a member of Blue Key, the 100 Club of Fort Lauderdale, The Committee of One Hundred of Miami Beach, and served as President of Sigma Nu, and the Gold Coast Jazz Society. Frank's passions included scuba diving, marathons, and traveling.
Frank and the love of his life, K C Jackson, moved here in 2010 to be near old friends and the beautiful ocean. They found many loving neighbors, and wonderful medical professionals and doctors. They are very thankful for local trades people who made their house a home and their yard a garden. Frank's sense of playfulness and good humor will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Friends and well-wishers may contribute in Frank's memory to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation (Grand Central Station, P. O. Box 4777, New York, NY 10163-4777).
