Funeral services for Clinton (Clint) Edward Britt, Jr., 50, of Cordele, Ga., will be held, Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Christian Union Church of God in Ashburn, Georgia. Mr. Britt passed away Sunday, March 25 after an extended illness at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Interment will follow at Rose Hill West section in Ashburn, Georgia.
The son of the late Clinton Edward Britt, Sr. and Emma Lois Nutt Britt, he was born in Dooly County on October 29, 1967. He was retired Vice President of Electrical Associates of Albany, Ga. Mr. Britt served his country in the United States Army. He was a faithful member of Christian Union Church of God and was a member of the Pastor’s Council.
Survivors include his wife, Stacy Britt of Cordele. Children Kandase (Ryan) Clem of Leesburg, Ga, Lakin (Kerry) Wisham of Ashburn, Ga., Courtney Foster and Tyler Foster both of Cordele, Ga. Also surviving is his mother, Emma Britt of Sycamore, Ga. Sisters, Karen (Tracy) McCurdy, Arabi, Ga., Tammy Middlebrooks, Sycamore, Ga, Half-sisters, Jeanie (Michael) Edwards, Orlando, Fl., and Cynthia Covelli, Salem, Wisconsin. Four Grandchildren, Gabe and Khloe Clem of Leesburg, Ga. and Kaden and Kason Wisham of Ashburn, Ga. Special nieces Kayla (Chad) McDaniel and Meagan (Josh) Seabolt and a special nephew Connor Middlebrooks. In addition to those listed he loved his extended family, Church family and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 to 1:45 at Christian Union Church of God prior to the service.
