Obituary

Dudley - Ann E. (Kennedy) Burke, longtime resident of Dudley Massachusetts died Wednesday, March 14th at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, she was 87 years young.

She leaves three sons, six granddaughters and an eclectic array of friends both from her 45 years professional cosmetician at Filene’s and Macy's, to the pool of artists and other enthusiasts in life that she touched so many lives.

Ann was born on May 8, 1930 to Francis P. Kennedy and Margaret (Manning). She was the middle child to parents who were married in Framingham in 1926.

Ann was a gifted horticulturalist she spent many summers putting together gardens with small stones surrounding the edges.

Later in life she became a relative art historian and began painting her own canvases. She also enjoyed playing golf, bowling and sunbathing in Gloucester. Ann was a constant reader and she could go thru two or three books in a day.

Ann Elizabeth (Kennedy) Burke was truly loved by all who she came in contact with whether around friends and family or other knowledgeable and interesting people who she may have come in contact with over her 87 years of life. She will be truly missed by all.
