Age 64 of Maplewood.
Passed away suddenly on March 14, 2018. Preceded in death by parents, Elmer & Dorothy Wegner; brothers-in-law, Joseph Nemo & James Lange. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Laura; children, Jenni Swinson (BJ), Nick, & Joey; grandson, JJ; siblings, Dale (Delores), Dianne, Judy (Larry), & Joan; and many nieces & nephews. He graduated from Cretin High School in 1971, University of St. Thomas in 1975 and U of M Medical School in 1980. He was a founding partner of PNBC in 1990 and recently began his retirement. Joe lived his life with values of faith, family, & friends. He was active at the Church of St. Peter, coached baseball and volleyball, and spent countless hours fishing & playing cards. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday (April 3, 2018) 11:30 AM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul. Visitation Monday (April 2, 2018) at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM and on Tuesday starting at 9:30 AM until time of Mass. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
