Funeral services for Mr. Randall (Randy) Gene Schneider, 63, of Ashburn, GA will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn with interment to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mr. Schneider passed away Wednesday at his residence following an extended illness.
The son of the late Ronald George and Grace F. Schneider he was born in Chicago, IL. He was an Independent truck driver and was of the Lutheran faith. He has been a resident of Turner County for about 12 years. Mr. Schneider was proud to have served his country as a US Marine.
Survivors include his wife, Christine W. Schneider, his sons, Derek Schneider and Andrew (Drew) Schneider all of Ashburn and a step daughter, Rachel Louise Queen of Ingleside, IL. He is also survived by his step grandchildren, Sofia, Jared, Jordan, Keenan, Nora and Krystyna.
The family will receive friends, Saturday from 12-2 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. The family also will receive friends and family after the services at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 807 South 3rd ST, Cordele, GA.
