Richard Lemire, 76, of North Providence, passed away peacefully March 18, 2018 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care in Providence, after a long battle with lymphoma. He was surrounded by his loving family, friends and beloved dog, Cooper.
Born in North Providence, he was a son of the late Wilfred F. and Elinor (Catlow) Lemire. Richard was a Thermo Plastic Forming Machine Operator for Nyman Manufacturing before retiring and was a member of the Corvette Club of RI.
Richard is survived by his life partner, George A. Picottte, his sister, Lynda Gremza of Smithfield, his brothers: Wilfred Lemire of North Providence, Alan Lemire of Seekonk and Kenneth Lemire of Burrillville. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was the brother of the late Corinne Labbe.
